Graduated cum laude in July 2011 with a Master's degree in law at the Free University of Brussels (VUB), where she specialised in Criminal Law and Procedure.
In her Master's thesis she researched the (im)balance between the confidentiality of the criminal investigation, the presumption of innocence and press releases by the Prosecutor's Office.
During her studies she interned at the judicial investigations division of the registry of the Court of First Instance in Antwerp.
On September 1st, 2011, she took the oath as a lawyer at the Bar of Antwerp, and in April 2012, she received her certificate of competence for the practice of the legal profession.
She started her internship at Jan De Man & Hilde Beeldens Law Office motivated by their expertise in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedural Law while not neglecting the importance of other areas of law.
Furthermore, her mentor ("patron") Mr. Jan De Man has extensive experience training young lawyers that have gone on to achieve great success as both lawyers and prosecutors.
As a junior associate she has specialized in criminal and family law after the end of her internship in 2014.
Starting in 2016, Mr. H. Beeldens and she are handling all Family Law cases within the law firm, while making certain not to neglect the areas of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law in which Mr. Lamm provides legal assistance during police and pre-trial detention.
Combining these two areas of law creates an interesting and diverse practice that enables her to assess and prepare your case from a broader perspective.
